Llandissilio playing fields grass circles - a mystery ?  Or is there an easy explanation.

Every winter grass circles can be seen on the playing fields, presumably in the summer the fields are regularly cut and the circles are hidden.  A respected Biologist thinks that they are probably naturally occurring fungi 'Fairy rings'.  Any interest or feedback would be welcome.
